Tit-Tape Ensures Robin Wright’s Golden Globes Stay Out Of Sight – JUST!

So the award season is upon us and before we even take note of all the worthy winners, the first job is to decide who was the best (and worst) dressed on the night.

Included in this task is spotting the hilarious malfunctions that often ensue.

Whether it’s Maggie Gyllenhaal’s full frontal or Janet Jackson’s infamous Super Bowl nip slip – us cruel gals love them.

So we weren’t disappointed to see the somewhat otherwise perfect Golden Globe winning actress, Robin Wright expose a very unhealthy length of pesky tit-tape.

The 47-year-old actress was about to accept her gong when her gown moved slightly and there it was, for everyone to see. It didn’t matter that the poor woman hadn’t prepared a speech because, one thing’s for sure, Tinseltown had better things to focus on.

Bronzed and groomed to perfection the House Of Cards actress wore a racy golden full-length halter-neck gown by Olivia Wilde and Zooey Deschanel’s favourite designer, Reem Acra and Jimmy Choo Tiga sandals; but although the outfit was award-winning, I doubt even the presence of her dishy 33-year-old toy boy fiancé, actor Ben, won’t be able to ease her cringe.

The event, that was held at the Beverley Hill’s Hilton, must have been really lacking in the mirror department last night with the display of some real beautiful turn-outs thanks to our very own Dame Helen Mirren and Laura Carmichael, but a shocking array of ‘What were you thinkings?’ from the American camp.

Sandra Bullock looked like, well I’m not entirely sure – a washed-out flamenco dancer perhaps? And don’t even get me started on Paula Patten’s baked Alaska get-up!

Here’s hoping this dress rehearsal will be nipped and tucked and their stylists get a dressing down in time for the Oscar’s pronto.

Here at Fashion North, we all know these tit-tape disasters happen to the best of us, never mind an A-lister! Take a look at our relationship with this wardrobe essential here.
