It was impossible not to get caught up in the excitement this weekend (January 25-26) at the Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle.
With enthusiastic future brides clutching goody-bags and complimentary tubs of ice-cream, the weekend showcased some of the North East’s most successful businesses.
The show included a range of beautifully presented stalls, including photography, the best venues for the big day, entertainment companies, including an enthusiastic magician, and a range of florists, cakes and catering.
Most importantly, there was a huge range of hair and beauty, bridal wear, and accessories to suit and boot the wedding parties for the most glamorous day of their lives.
Donna Caldwell, from award-winning bridal retailer L’amour Bridal said: “The event has been a huge success, dresses are selling off the rail and we’re booked out until May. We’ve sold bouquets off the stands, and had enquiries for all sorts!”
As well as incredible discounts, top tips on a variety of topics, and a glass of fizz and a goody bag, guests were also treated to an incredible fashion show featuring Kathryn Russell, Slaters formal and highland wear, Jules B, Kate Fearnley Boutique, Norma James, and more.
Dresses and menswear were not only stunning and beautifully presented, but it was impossible for us not to nod our heads along to the show as the models danced along the catwalk in a fun and exciting twist.
