Missing London Fashion Week already? Can’t wait for Autumn/Winter to see all the trends hit the High Street? Never fear as FN’s shopping editor has done some digging and found a selection of items that are bang on trend and available to purchase right now!
Here are the top 10 trends from London Fashion Week that are available on the rails:
A/W14 is set to look very blue after seeing powerful amounts of blue on blue layering at Topshop Unique and Richard Nicoll. Not forgetting the dashes of cobalt blue on the catwalk at House of Holland, Sibling and Eudon Choi.
We love that lace is making a comeback, especially with Burberry’s winter wrap layering over knee length lace skits, giving off a subtle sultry look. It doesn’t end there; lace was also admired at Christopher Kane and Temperley London.
Designers such as Peter Pilotto, Erdem, Henry Holland and Mary Katrantzou are still supporting the metallic trend and we loved it in their shimmering collections!
From fur coats and capes to multi-coloured patchwork faux fur, we will definitely be keeping warm in the winter season thanks to Temperley London, Nicole Farhi, Topshop Unique and House of Holland.
5) High Necklines
The high neckline is forecast to be very stylish still for A/W’14 with long sleeved shirts and wooly jumpers to accessories that match with your chosen attire. The high neckline was loved at Eudon Choi, Paul Smith, Marios Schwab, House of Holland and Sibling.
6) Snake Print
Snake print is the new leather at Topshop Unique, Meadham Kirchoff and Simone Rocha. From snakeskin printed coats to hem lines adding that extra shimmer – it looked fab!
7) Mustard Yellow
Instances of mustard at the Burberry Prorsum, Paul Smith and JW Anderson show proved that alongside royal blue, it is to be one of the colours of the season come A/W14.
8) Knee High Boots
Over the knee boots aren’t going anywhere as they were adored at the Topshop Unique and Tom Ford show, especially in suede. Grab some now and you definitely won’t regret it.
From embellished jewels at Temperley London, House of Holland and Holly Fulton to embellished peacocks at Topshop Unique. A/W’14 is set to look very pretty.
10) Matching Prints
We loved the matching of prints at KTZ, Temperley London and Peter Pilotto and it inspired us to find some amazing co-ords on the high street!
