Every year the models on the Spring/Summer catwalks are wearing pink lips in every shade: from fuchsia to flamingo, coral to carnation, and bubble gum to barbie.

The pink lips trend is oh-so pretty and with just a few products you can easily jump on the bandwagon!

To get intense fuchsia pink lips, as seen on the Maria Grachvogel SS14 catwalk, try MAC’s Girl About Town lipstick, £15.

This lipstick has an amplified formula, meaning it’s creamy and super pigmented, giving you an opaque colour in just one swipe!

Try adding a layer of Lipcote (£3.69 Boots) over the lipstick – this will help the lipstick stay in place and give your lips an on-trend matte appearance.

Burberry Prorsum Catwalk - London Fashion Week 2013

If the bright pink is a little much for you try a flesh-toned shade for a classic nude look. The SS14 catwalk at Burberry Prorsum gave us pale, but pretty, lips.

Revlon’s ColorBurst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake (£7.99 Boots) is a perfect to add a sheer wash of colour to your lips.

These lip butters are also extremely hydrating and nourishing. Another pretty nude, but with slightly more colour, is MAC Creme Cup, £15. This is a gloss finish lipstick in a flawless ‘my lips but better’ kind of shade.

Holly Fulton Catwalk - London Fashion Week

For a fun twist on the pink lips trend try the ombre look. Using the Holly Fulton SS13 catwalk for inspiration start by applying a coral-toned orange.

Try Revlon’s ColorBurst Matte Balm in Mischievous (£7.99 Boots) to the centre of the lips.

Then using a pink, like Sleek’s Matte Me Lip Cream in Party Pink (£4.99 Boots), blend out the orange and apply to the rest of your lips. This gives an easily achievable look that will stand out from the crowd.
