Angelina Jolie has teamed up with Stella McCartney to design a children’s clothing line inspired by her upcoming Disney movie “Maleficent”.
The collection, called “Maleficent by Stella McCartney Kids” features eight styles for both girls and boys aged between four and 14.
The range includes t-shirts and trainers to princess dresses and sandals.
There’s no doubt Jolie had her own children in mind when she decided to launch the clothing line, as three of whom have cameos in the film.
The clothes will be available in both Stella McCartney and Disney stores worldwide as well as online at the end of April- ahead of the film’s release on May 30.
Prices range from €50 and €125 and a 10 percent proportion of sales will go towards SOS Children’s Villages, which provides homes for children in need.
This isn’t McCartney’s first trip into Disney-themed fashion. In 2010 the designer created a jewellery collection for Disney, inspired by Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.
In 2009, she also featured some characters from the film Bambi in an advert campaign.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of Disney growing up, as was my mother, and I grew up watching all of the films like most kids did” McCartney told WWD.
