The Met Gala: Best Of Beauty

Cara kept it simple and let her eyebrows do the talking.
Kendall Jenner enhanced her facial features with eyeliner, dramatic mascara, a hint of blush, and light pink lipstick.
Suki Waterhouse swapped her clean style for powerfully pretty, bold crimson lips and an elegant flyaway chignon.
Bronze smoky eyes and a retro curled hairstyle completed Jessica's dazzling look.
Beyonce wore her hair slicked back into a tight chignon. Her lips were dark and vampy.
An extra-long side braid and an electric bluish-purple lipstick set Joan Smalls apart from all the other minimal make-up looks of the night.

The fashion industry’s annual event had us searching our laptops for the looks of the night.

A common look worn by Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Jessica Alba and many more was a very romantic, classically flawless, fresh-faced, striking contour look with lots of highlighter.

This was teamed with a minimal nude brown and bronze eye shadows and volumised lashes.

The make-up look was finished with a nude, glossy lip; with a few celebs including Beyonce opting for a daring lip colour such as red, burgundy and purple.

Hair definitely outshone the make-up at the Met Gala Ball.

There were lots of 1920s inspired hairdo’s, perfect curls, hair accessories, and side partings which complemented the makeup-up perfectly.

Not overdone, nor underdone. It was hard to fault anyone’s beauty look.
