X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger rocked the new fashion trend of clashing hot pink and red when she hit the ITV Gala Ball red carpet on Thursday night.
Scherzy, 39, paired a neon pink top with a scarlet pencil skirt and matching heels for the event.
And it certainly made her stand out from the crowd where most celebs stuck to traditional boring LBDs.
But Nicole isn’t the first celebrity to be seen in the contrasting colour pairing. Stars such as Olivia Culpo, Miranda Kerr, Emma Roberts and even Victoria Beckham have also embraced the trend.
Wearing red and pink used to be a big fashion faux pas but now it has become one of this season’s biggest trends, and Nicole certainly managed to pull off the look at the ITV event.
The colour pairing was seen on the runway at Valentino, Gucci, Celine and Balenciaga’s A/W 17 collections. It was also a big trend during Paris Fashion Week and many people were spotted around Paris in the colour pairing.
Whether it is a bright and bold contrast, like Nicole’s look, or a more muted pairing like Victoria Beckham, it is clear that red and pink is what everyone is obsessed with right now.
