Michael Kors release new 100 series watch as part of the Watch Hunger Stop campaign

Michael Kors

Michael Kors have released a new watch to add to their limited edition collection as part of their 100 series and Watch Hunger Stop campaign.

The new watch comes after two years of partnership with the World Food Programme who supply emergency food to victims of war and natural disasters.

The new watch is based on the classic Micheal Kors runway watch. It has a rose gold stainless steel strap and a grey-blue face with a map of the world etched behind the dials. The watch also features limited edition engraving on the back of the face – the signature of Michael Kors himself, the words Watch Hunger Stop and 1 Watch = 100 Meals.

Which links to the main reason behind the new watch being every time a watch from the 100 series is sold then 100 children will be fed a nutritional meal. So far the 100 series watches have fed over five million children. This new watch launched on October 16, which was also World Food Day. The watch is available online and in all Michael Kors stand-alone stores.

Since October 16 the Watch Hunger Stop campaign has taken to all social media platforms. Six Michael Kors stores across the world have been giving out free T-shirts to customers, taking their photo and asking them to share the photo along with #WatchHungerStop to help raise publicity.
