Milan Fashion Week AW15: Moschino

The king of cool never stops; Jeremy Scott brings his quirkiness onto the catwalk once again in Milan for Moschino AW15 collection.

The stage was set with a backdrop of a humongous Moschino boom box; before the show started it was obvious the 80s was going to be prominent.

Never the one to play it safe, this season Moschino was a mash-up of Looney Tunes prints and gold street wear. The colour blocking was eye-catching with oversized quilted jackets, bags and skirts. Throughout the collection there was 60s and 80s styles replicating a hip-hop look, loose dungarees styled with a logo embellished bucket hat.

Last season, the make-up was pin-up doll style, with big eyelashes and heaps of neon pink lipstick. This season, it’s the total opposite, totally natural and low-key, inspired by the girl on the street.

It was child’s play as Looney Tunes prints graced the catwalk, donned on oversized bright jumpers, baseball shirts and loose co-ords. Patchwork denim and foil gold followed with heavy gold chains and OTT earrings.

The 80s theme was prominent to the very end as the finale showcased ball gowns in all shapes and sizes, from elegant slim line to short puff-ball style with oversized shoulder pads; bags were oversized spray tin cans with gold chains, if you can’t have a spray tin bag in a Jeremy Scott Moschino show, then when can you?!
