Halloween is literally a couple of days away and I know some of you girls out there will still be no further forward in choosing a costume. Am I right? If this is the case, I might just have the answer.

The idea of working with occasion wear is the fact that your outfit is going to look a lot classier than, well trashier outfits. Lace dresses make dressing up for the occasion fun but a lot easier. All you really need to worry about are your props, makeup and hair (if you’re not wearing a wig, that is).

Curl your hair and complete the look with the best smoky eye make-up. Extra points for those who sport the ensemble with a novelty plastic pitch fork.
So there you have it, it’s really that simple when you turn to your trusty high street stores. And you can tone down these dresses again and again and wear them on nights out with friends or even to family parties. You could even look in your own wardrobe right now; you might honestly be surprised at what pieces can be turned into something spooky for Halloween.
