Fashion North’s beauty editor Megan Goodwin has revealed a little section of her wish list for this Christmas, and unsurprisingly make-up is at the top. Take a sneak peak at what she’s wishing for this year, it might just help you fill that last slot on your Christmas list.
Urban Decay Vice 3 eye shadow palette
“This is at the top of my Christmas list! I fell in love with Urban Decay after purchasing their Naked 2. It contains 20 never-before-seen shades, ranging from smoky black to soft nudes, shimmering blues and rich burgundies. The colour platte is great for daytime and nighttime looks, there’s six neutral shades for daytimes and 13 other shades which can be used at night. As well as colours, the shades also come in a variety of textures including matte, satin, sparkle and metallic. Complete with a huge palette mirror, a double ended eye shadow and crease brush, and with a beautiful matching make-up bag.”
NYX Matte Lipstick, £6
“I only started using the make-up brand NYX a few months ago, but I am finding myself slowing building up a growing collection of NYX products. Potentially a new beauty brand favourite? Maybe. I have never used their lipsticks before so when I went to shop for them I was spoilt for choice. I love the matte lipstick liner they have, and I am definitely hoping for a pretty, pale neutral nude colour. You can buy NYX make-up at Next.”
OPI Nail Polish, from £11 at Debenhams, from £3.99 at TK Maxx
“I discovered the brilliance of OPI this year after I spotted them in TK Maxx for an amazing low price. However the only thing about buying beauty at TK Maxx is you never know which colours they’ll have in stock – and it’s always a strike of luck if you like the colours they have. After purchasing a few bargains, I am hoping to maybe get my hands on some colours for Christmas, like the glitter shade Snow Globetrotter or maybe a nice deep red or shimmering gold colour.”
