Steve Clarke, House of Fraser Store Manager, said: “We are a very strong department store, on beauty, accessories and menswear. We really wanted to focus on big womanswear brands”.
The 5,000-sqft expansion of the entrance to House of Fraser means that more brands will be added to the department store’s shop floor.
“Our main focus is to create the best shopping mall, so we’ve brought in another 20 brands, including Jo Malone, Armani Colour, Tom Ford, NARS, Urban Decay, as well as niche fragrance brands”, Mr Clarke added. With the first of those luxury brands opening October 10 with Jo Malone.
The department store is also expanding many of their current woman’s fashion brands, including Mulberry and Michael Kors. As well as a MAC expansion of an additional 12-sqft complete with floor to ceiling LCD TV screens which will broadcast makeup tutorials. This is set to be completed at the end of week commencing October 19.
