One of the biggest TV series of the year has finally hit our screens. After waiting over a year for the second season, Stranger Things 2 has been released today and our Halloween is going to be spent binge watching the new series.
The sci-fi series starring Millie Bobbie Brown and Winona Ryder has been released today on Netflix. With all nine episodes available to watch now, you can binge watch the series all weekend. It’s questionable if people will be out celebrating Halloween, or tucked up in bed celebrating Stranger Things being back on our TV’s. Or if you’re in London this weekend, maybe you will be taking a trip to Topshop Oxford Circus who are celebrating Stranger Things in full style.
Topshop have launched a Stranger Things collection to mark the release. The collection includes 17 pieces including t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, backpacks and lunchboxes. They have even released “The book of Barb”, a book dedicated to the Character of Nancy’s best friend Barb, including her best beauty and fashion tips. Actress Shannon Purser, who plays Barb in the show, is also hosting the event at Topshop Oxford Circus where the store has been transformed into the Stranger Things world including Castle Byers, Hawkins lab and the upside down. The event is running until the 31st October.
The Stranger Things characters have undoubtedly become fashion icons, including the shows Natalia Dyer (Nancy) and Shannon Purser (Barb). Not only is Millie Bobbie Brown an ultimate fashion icon in the real world, Eleven costumes are available to buy for this Halloween.
The pieces from the collection range from £9.99 to £32, if you’re the ultimate Stranger Things fan, grab them before they go. Due to the popularity of the Netflix hit, its imaginable that they will be a sell out.
