Run, run, run! The Bridges’ ninth annual Student Raid is coming

On your marks, get set, go! It’s time to book your place at The Bridges student raid in Sunderland.

On Monday 30th September, the doors will be opening up to welcome new and returning students with a night filled with offers, freebies, giveaways and goodie bags to get you prepared for the semester ahead.

The event, with a guest appearance from Love Island star Anton Danyluk, will begin at 6:30pm and conclude later in the evening, which gives you enough time to dive into all the discounts at some of the top stores in the shopping centre including Topshop/Topman, Foot Asylum and New Look who are each offering 20% off.

And keep an eye out for Fashion North’s reporting team who will be covering the event. We will be taking streetstyle photos of the most stylish shoppers for a competition to win £50 worth of The Bridges vouchers.

Marketing manager at the Bridges, Samantha Czwordon-Auld, said: “It’s always an amazing event that we love to run each year – and it’s always great to meet and welcome new students who are both local and from overseas. We always aim to provide a welcoming atmosphere for the students, both on the student raid and all year round.”

There will be discounts on everything so students will have access to all sorts of  goodies ranging from toiletries to shoes to clothing, tis the season to treat yourself!

Prices will be cut for one night only at a variety of retailers including some of the biggest high street stores and quirky independents so, as well as your student essentials, you will be able to pick up luxuries such as perfume, jewellery and chocolate with Thorntons and Pandora also included in the raid.
