Bold, bright and beautiful; this 1980s inspired look by Annakiki took Milan by storm.
The 1980s is a very important decade of fashion that introduced many new styles and ideas into the mix. This was a decade of bold style, colours and silhouettes which is clearly infused strongly into this fashionable piece. The neon pink used here is an eye-catching statement to turn heads and leave an unforgettable impression. This outfit screams the opposite of minimalism and simplistic which is exactly what this era was about.
The 1980s brought one of the most eclectic decades in fashion from shoulder pads to power suits and all in between. It was the decade of the power dress but also of punks. Big shoulders, bright colours and zebra print trousers bring plenty of statement to the look, pairing with a clear pair of heels to finish off and not over do. The collard and double-breasted suit jacket give off nothing but elegance while still obtaining to the 80-punk theme with the length and colours used.
This collection is by the independent designer Anna Yang, the founder of Annakiki. Yang’s brand is said to express herself through her own fashion and express beauty and positivity. This brand was founded in 2013 and since then has released several collections and the label is now officially added to Milan Fashion Week.
