Peoples Magazine named Michael B Jordan the sexiest man alive for 2020, that’s the actor, not the NBA player.
The actor has starred in Just Mercy (2019), Creed 2 (2018), Black Panther (2018), Creed (2015), Fantastic Four (2015), That Awkward Moment (2014), and so many more.
In celebration, we’ve put together some of his best red carpet looks.
The 51st NAACP Image Awards were held on 23rd Feb 2020 to celebrate the achievements and representations of people of colour in motion pictures, television, music and literature during 2019. Jordan won the award for Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in Just Mercy, and wore a simple Burberry tuxedo.
Every year we await the Met Gala to scrutinise and judge what some of our favourite celebrities decide to wear. In 2019, the theme was Camp: Notes on Fashion which was a great year for fashion, we saw huge dresses, fashion technology and extravagant headbands. Michael B Jordan wore a satin suit embellished with black sequins, created by Jordan and Stuart Vevers, Creative Director of Coach with input from stylist Jason Rembert. Jordan’s look was complete with Chelsea boots adorned with sequins.
In 2019, Jordan walked the red carpet for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party wearing a patterned grey Berluti suit.
For the 91st Academy Awards Oscars Ceremony in 2019, Jordan wore a blue velvet suit jacket and black trousers by Tom Ford and was accompanied by his mother to the event. Who ever said blue and black don’t go together?
Red carpet events don’t always have to mean the most extravagant dresses and tailored tuxedos. In 2018 Michael B Jordan wore patterned silk floral DSquared2 trousers, a shirt, Chelsea boots and a bomber jacket to the MTV Movie and TV Awards. Jordan won the award for Best Villian in Black Panther.
