After announcing the departure of fashion director Marigay McKee, Harrods have announced two internal promotions to fill the role.
Helen David, who has worked as general merchandise manager for six years, is due to become director of womenswear, accessories, fine jewellery and childrenswear. Jason Broderick, who joined the company in 1998, will become director of menswear, sports and watches. These are both new positions, and they will report to Harrods managing director Michael Ward.
“Both are excellent merchants with an exceptional eye for luxury, playing an integral part in developing the world-class offer that Harrods is known for,” said Ward. McKee is set to leave later this year to become president of Saks Fifth Avenue, and her replacements will take over at the same time.
