Make-Up Trends From House Of Holland AW14

When I saw on Instagram that the beauty theme of the ‘Debauched Debutantes’ collection by House Of Holland A/W14 was ‘Monkey Wild,’ I got a little excited.

I haven’t been impressed by make-up shown at London Fashion Week so far and I had huge expectations for Henry Holland to deliver, and boy, he did just that.

From the first look of the collection with metallic lime green pants, a huge oversized teal coat with fur, and a slogan tee that said ‘Rich Bish’, I knew it would be a funky and an ‘in your face’ show.

The textured, nearly not-even-brushed hair was clipped off the face behind each ear, showing off those killer contoured cheekbones that we envy so much here at Fashion North.

He went against the trend of bleached and coloured brows by keeping them natural and arched, and instead, injected colours of shimmering metallic blues and greens to the eyelid, sweeping it from the inner corner and out to meet the end of the brow. Almost smokey, but not quite there.

The look was finished with a volumised sweep of mascara, a little liner on the top and bottom lashes, and a rose pink lip.

House of Holland have a variety of quirky fake nail art designs which are available in most boots stores, so we were dying to know what nail art he would be using for Autumn/Winter 2014.

The rounded two-toned fuchsia pink and maroon nails matched the colours of his collection perfectly and is a look we will definitely be trying ourselves.

Bravo House of Holland. You did not disappoint.
