DVF S/S 15 catwalk review

Diane Von Furstenberg, the Queen of catwalk, brought her ready-to-wear collection to life at this year’s NYFW.

The spring/summer collection showed DVF’s creative and experimental side. With high slit dresses, think Angelia’s leg dress. Combined with emerald green knee length swing dresses and mini skirts with an open front wrap around.

The collection made us think of Texas barnyards chic, if that’s such a thing. With gingham, lace and a lot of monochrome. Each item is suited perfectly to them unexpected summer days.

If the collection itself wasn’t enough, DVF’s model line up was exciting to say the least. Model-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner made an appearance in an above-the-knee fitted gingham lace dress, with three-quarter length sleeves and wrap around bow, complemented with strapless sandals. Kendall looked effortlessly stunning.

But, the older Jenner sister wasn’t the highlight of the model list; iconic supermodel Naomi Campbell donned a sleeveless knee-length dress with splashes of fuchsia pink and bright oranges.

As always, DVF’s ready-to-wear collection left us excited for the upcoming season and to see her collection in stores. Well done DVF, you’ve done it again.
