Tried and Tested: Moroccan Argon Oil

We tried out the latest beauty secret for hair, Moroccan Argon Oil, to see if it really works and if it’s worth taking pride of place on your vanity.

Honestly, I was a little sceptical at first, I have always stayed away from oil hair treatment products because I thought that it would just make my hair look so greasy, but after hearing all the hype about Moroccan Argon Oil, and after getting serious hair envy over You-tuber Vivian Vo-Farmer, I thought I’d give it a go. I used the Gum Hair Salon Expertise Moroccan Argon Oil Hair Treatment for seven days, available from £4.49 on eBay.

Once I washed my hair, I applied a ten pence piece sized amount of the product into my hands and worked it from the mid to ends of my hair, then along with a heat defence, I blow dried it as normal. I was so impressed with the result, my hair was super soft and shiny and you could definitely tell the difference after the first application. It didn’t weigh down my hair at all, and definitely did not leave it looking greasy.

A week later, and I’m still using Moroccan Argon Oil, it’s amazing, what else can I say. It has literally saved my hair, my split ends have not disappeared but they are definitely not as brittle as before. I used to suffer from a lot of static in my hair due to the harsh weather, but now that has completely gone since I started using this. My frizz and flyaways have also finally been tamed, and I’ve found that there is less breakage on my hair when brushing it.

Final Thought: Grab it while you can. Whatever hair type you have, or even if you don’t suffer from any hair problems, it will keep your hair maintained and looking healthy and shiny. There’s no reason not to buy this product.

Beware: Don’t apply to dry hair, I made the mistake one morning by trying to sort out annoying flyaways, so I put the product on my roots when my hair was dry, that’s the only time it made it look greasy and I had to use a lot of dry shampoo to sort it out. Instead, use John Freda Frizz Ease Secret Agent to tame flyways on dry hair.
