Victoria Beckham has been named the UK’s leading entrepreneur. The former spice girl is at the top of the list created by Management Today magazine.
It’s a far cry from the catwalk queen’s Posh Spice days as she trades in her chart topping titles for the role of Britain’s top entrepreneur 2014.
The list of 100 was published today (October 27), praising the most successful of the UK’s talented entrepreneurs.
The magazine said no one illustrates “bucking the all-prevailing doom” of the past five year’s economic downturn like Victoria, who is said to have an estimated wealth of £210 million.
And, Mrs Beckham’s fashion empire only seems to be expanding.
The design opened her first flagship store in London last month, and has seen her turn over go from £1 million to £30 million in just five years.
The top 100, said to be worth a staggering overall £25 billion, features the likes of Boohoo co-founder Mahmud Kamani at number three, and Lush Cosmetics founders Mark and Mo Constantine at number 48.
