Show Up Club: ‘At Your Own Pace, Not a Race’
On Saturday October 11, Show Up Club held their first weekly Sunderland running session at the Sheepfolds. This dynamic female-focused group met to empower and uplift each other with a slogan of ‘at your own pace, not a race’. Fitness is encouraged to everyone, especially women, no matter the pace or lack of confidence, even just showing up is applauded.
The members met up donning the club’s own activewear. Founder Claire Goodliff takes pride in their label’s pieces saying: “our activewear is for females, it’s built around a female body and how women’s bodies change”. It’s rare to find women’s clothing that feels as good as it looks but checking in with Jen proved Show Up Club’s pieces keep spirits high even after a 5k.
