Sneak Peek: Bridgerton’s Season 4 Outfits

Dearest Gentle Readers, 2026 is the year for Bridgerton season 4 bringing along eight episodes of Benedict Bridgerton finding his diamond in the new social season. Part 1 is available only on Netflix from January, 29 and part 2 from February, 26.

The first poster released by @BridgertonNetflix seen on Instagram shows us a masquerade ball and a pass-by interaction between Benedict and mystery woman Sophie Beckett on the stairwell. Long awaited glances are exchanged and the condemned brushing of hands sparks curiosity and excitement for the audience after the longing for Benedict’s story.

The mysterious Lady in Silver (in fact the worker for a Lady of a house) is spotted by Benedict at the masquerade ball admiring the chandelier wearing Bridgerton’s favourite silver regency era styled gown. The bodice of the gown is blanketed with crystals and lace patterns that flow down the dress like a stream matched with a white lace mask embodied with silver glitzy flower details at the hairline tied at the back into a bow. Her white silk evening gloves aligned with crystals are shown to be cast aside after her private interaction with Benedict, leaving fans questioning if we are in for a forbidden love story and secrecy.

The second eldest Bridgerton son, Benedict arrives at the masquerade ball in an all-black attire made up of black calf high boots tucked into formal black chinos and a frilly chiffon black shirt, buttoned down with sleeves tied with black laces, giving almost a pirate look. Over the top of this, a leather ruched jacket adds texture to the outfit, perhaps influenced by the feathers of a bird and finishing with a plain black eye mask for the theme of the ball.

We can recognise Katie Leung who plays Lady Araminta Gao in this new season from her previous work in Harry Potter as Cho Chang, Harry’s first love interest. In the release of new images from the season, Lady Araminta is seen with her two daughters who will debut this season in a full-black attire. Intricate black details and shimmers are contrasted against her plain black shawl trimmed with a rope design. Shielding her eyes with a sheer hand-held mask with matching sheer evening gloves and her hair pinned in a slick up-do.

Her daughters, Posy Li (Isabella Wei) and Rosamund Li (Michelle Mao) will definitely be seen as fashion icons this season, parading the best aristocratic look since Daphne Bridgerton’s debutant dress in season one.

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend says Rosamund, Lady Araminta’s eldest daughter. Her bodice is patterned with tree branches and leaves with a special appearance of an albino peacock and it’s feathery tail, matching her hand-held eye mask with feathers underneath the eye cutouts. Different from other dresses this season, Rosamund is styled in a dusty rose Victorian Era gown with long laced puffed sleeves that attach onto white evening gloves and the full skirt is traced with continuous tree branches, greenery and flowers trancing her in a blushpetal aesthetic. Rosamund takes the spotlight with her extravagant looks and dripping with precious earrings and necklaces, perfectly on display with help from her classic regency era chignon hairstyle.

Posy, unlike her older sister, is given a more simplistic and refined look as we will find out that Posy is hidden in the shadows with her sister taking the spotlight and attention away from her. Posy’s masquerade ballgown was inspired by the ocean with puffy sleeves made from teal Organza and the same fabric is used for the underskirts of the dress, looking like ocean waves down her front. Her teal mask shielding her eyes are dawned with flowers and gemstones arranged along the border with matching white, sheer evening gloves sharing the same flower and gemstone pattern. Posy’s dancing card is visible on her wrist, looking empty. The overskirt that had been parted to display the ruffled sea of waves is a deeper green seashell pattern along with small glimmers complimenting her simple jewelry.
