My 70s Inspired Brown Outfit

I am a fashion student and here is my outfit of the day!

My style is heavily inspired by pop culture, especially media like movies and music, which is present in a lot of my clothing choices.

The inspiration for this outfit was the 70’s, especially artists like Jim Morrison and Cher who were seen in similar embroidered Afghan coats. The coat I’m wearing is a brown suede calf length coat, which is an authentic vintage coat which was thrifted, lined with a deep brown fur trim and embroidered with flowers.

I also wore a circular brown belt which was also another major 70’s trend which had a resurgence in the 00’s and again now. I styled this belt with the coat due to the similar brown tones, which helped carry a theme through the whole look, as well as it having flower patterns engraved into the belt linking to the embroidery.
