How I Used Red and Black to Style my Valentine’s Day Outfits

Look 1:

For my more casual day look, I chose to go for the classic jeans and a top outfit, with an extra bit of warmth.

I decided to start with the bottom and work my way up for this outfit. I chose these ONLY low rise straight fit jeans because I think they are just the best casual jeans around.

Then I knew I wanted a red or pink top, and I saw that this top and cardigan went really well together in terms of colours. So I decided to put on my burgundy ASOS mesh cami top, and then for my top layer I added my rouge Hollister cardigan.

To finish the look, I added my classic black converse, my everyday jewellery and a dainty silver necklace.

Look 2:

For my date night outfit, I decided to go a little bit more dressy and sexy to fit the vibes of Valentine’s Day.

I wanted to wear a dress to feel that little bit girly on V Day, so I went with my black, long sleeved, tie up mini dress from Shein and paired this with some fishnet, love heart tights from Primark.

I wore the same jewellery as my last look but finished the look with bright red, suede Primark stiletto heels and a matching lip, which I think really helped pull this outfit together.
