With over 55 sessions built into a packed timetable, plus a marketplace showcasing brilliant regional product businesses, this weekend is an unmissable experience for anyone based in the North East, and even those who aren’t!

Show Up North brings together movement, wellness, talks, workshops, music, socials, shopping and new experiences, all in one place, by women, for women. The event is designed for everyone: whether you’re showing up solo or with friends, whether you have experience or none at all. You can choose the sessions you want to join, take breaks when you need them, and tailor the entire weekend to suit you. It’s an event you can shape completely to your own liking.

Event organiser and Show Up Club founder Claire Goodliff said: “Show Up North is a celebration of women and of the North East. We’ve brought together brilliant local instructors, businesses, founders and communities to create a weekend that feels full of energy, connection and pride in the region. I want women to come along, discover something new and see just how much we can offer right here in the North East.”

The weekend begins on Friday evening with pop‑ups across Newcastle City Centre, each offering a different session vibe and social experience. A weekend ticket includes one Friday pop‑up session of your choice, plus entry to the Friday night after‑party.

Tickets are available to buy on the Show Up North website. A full weekend ticket is £99, which includes Friday evening, all Saturday and Sunday sessions, the Saturday evening mixer at the Maldron Hotel, and access to the event’s extensive marketplace. If you can only join for one day, tickets are £75 and can be used for either Saturday or Sunday.

On Saturday and Sunday, the event moves from Newcastle City Centre to Northumbria University. Saturday delivers a full day of back‑to‑back activity sessions, while Sunday focuses on restoration and balance, with sessions designed to help you slow down, reset and reflect before the weekend wraps up at 4pm.

“As a values-driven business, we’re delighted to support an event that brings people together while celebrating the talent, energy and independence within our region,” said Deb Ions, marketing director of Square One Law, Show Up North’s main sponsor.

Their marketplace lineup includes local legends like Deep North, serving their amazing artisan doughnuts and coffee; 4Lyf, capturing the best moments with their film cameras; and No Crash, bringing endless focus and energy to the weekend- plus so many more. The underwear everyone is talking about, OddBalls, will also be there with their activation, giving ticket-holders the chance to design their own pair to win a bundle worth over £100.

With a lineup just as impressive as the marketplace, some of Fashion North’s most anticipated sessions at the weekender include the Pillars of Style Code, because how could we miss anything fashion related; Feminine Rage Pilates, our favourite mix of angst and fitness; and the self‑guided facial, because who doesn’t need a cheeky self‑care spa moment. And of course, there is the highly anticipated guest panel on the She Showed Up talk.

All of the presenters involved are incredibly enthusiastic about the event and what it stands for. The whole team is a strong group of excited individuals who are proud to be part of an event bringing positive attention to the North East.

Pilates session presenter and co-founder of The Send Club, Emma Amos said: “I’m so excited to be part of Show Up North, especially here in the North East. I absolutely love everything the event stands for- people coming together, moving their bodies, trying something new and stepping outside their comfort zones… I want women to leave my session feeling good, feeling confident and hopefully remembering that movement should be something we get to enjoy… Show Up North is just amazing and I’m genuinely so excited to be part of that energy.”
