As the cold weather approaches we all know this means one thing – new clothes! If you claim that you don’t occasionally buy a new jumper or coat as the weather starts to turn colder, you are probably not being honest.
As the seasons change, the fashion industry follows, bringing out warmer, comfier lines. After scouring John Lewis Newcastle for the best buys, I found my two favourite must-have items for the upcoming season.

This coat from Oasis is perfect for the colder weather. The classy style goes with many different outfit choices, whether it’s for a formal gathering or a trip to the shops. At £98 it is a reasonable price for a good quality coat which ensures that you’ll stay warm during winter.
To complement the coat, I chose these suede brown ankle boots by John Lewis. Priced at £99, they are the perfect balance between smart and casual to keep your feet feeling toasty and warm.
Love the colour and quality look of the coat. It seems to be extremely versatile and can be worn for both a casual or smart look. The boots are amazing and will compliment the coat brilliantly. They look so comfortable and yet smart at the same time. A well thought out choice for the coming months.
