Graphic sweaters are the successful trend of swinter season

This seasons latest must-have item that’s hitting the high street is graphic sweaters.

The great thing about these sweaters is that there’s so much opportunity to represent your personality and mood. They’re like a beware sign before someone speaks to you, or a ‘my ears are open’ kind of thing.

Sweeping Instagram the graphic sweater is taking over many celebrity and influencer accounts. Below Kylie Jenner can be seen wearing a Balenciaga Speedhunters graphic hoodie, which is priced at around £700.

To achieve the ultimate comfort look, a graphic sweater can be paired with anything. For a more chic look, it can be paired with a pair of leather leggings and heels, or if you’re striving for more of a casual look, jogging pants or sport leggings are the way forward.

Whilst comfort is key in oversized graphic sweaters that’s not to say they are not high fashion, as they are becoming extremely trendy this spring.

An extremely popular graphic sweater is this SilkFred monster face which has dupes in New Look and many other online stores. This sweater comes in a range of colours from black to red to purple – the perfect street style look can be achieved with this creepy creation. It currently retails at £18.00 on SilkFred, which is at a sale price. The sweater is seen here paired with vinyl pants on Love Island star, Olivia Bowen which is the perfect combination and another trend sweeping the high street.

Social media is the place to be to keep up with the latest fashion trends and oversized graphic sweaters are taking the digital world by storm. Graphic sweaters are not just fashion but also art. It takes the game of street style to a whole new dimension as the image on the sweater is almost an accessory.

Whilst most graphic sweaters are reasonably affordable on the high street, the high-end brands are also on this trend. Moschino has created the ultimate graphic sweater with their trademark Teddy logo. This new season Teddy sweater retails at £465 at Flannels.com.

Another brand to set you up with your fix of graphic sweaters is Missguided with their second Playboy collaboration. This range includes printed sweaters, hoodies, dresses pyjamas and so much more. The printed graphics can be found on the front and back of items in the collection, but we particularly love these magazine-style prints. Being such a varied collection, there is a printed graphic for everyone, depending on your personal style.
