As you may have seen in our previous piece, Harris Tweed have ventured into Primark. The collection hit stores nationwide last month and following the release Primark have produced an insight into the production behind their limited edition line of blazers and waistcoats.
Produced in the Scottish isles, Harris Tweed has three distinct characteristics. The fact it’s spun from pure virgin wool direct from the islands sheep. It has to be spun and woven in the Outer Hebrides, and finally the fabric has to be made at the home of the weaver.
Primark is offering a unique chance for their customers to grab a piece of the Harris Tweed brand, at a fraction of the cost. As blazers available in brown and grey herringbone are £85 and matching waistcoats are £30.
