Rihanna and socks? Would anyone have thought that a collaboration like this would ever happen? Well you better believe it! Rihanna has launched a new Christmas sock range just in time for the festive season.
The singer has collaborated with Stance, an innovative sock company who claim they have “turned socks into one of the world’s most exciting categories in less than five years.” This is her second complete collection with the company since becoming a contributing Creative Director in July earlier this year.
Her collection is called Fenty for Stance by Rihanna with this particular range being named ‘Holiday 2015’. From festive casual socks to glamorous sheer hosiery, there is a pair to suit every occasion.
Casual styles depict traditional scenes of stockings hung by the fire and girls displaying their best Grinch attire. Formalwear can be given an added touch when wearing the ankle socks featuring a bell trim, as well as soft feathers on both anklet and over the knee styles bringing a touch of warmth to sheer stockings – a perfect addition to any “Santa Baby” moment.

Pairs from her previous collection with Stance were available to buy on ASOS priced at around £14.99. This range paraded her ‘bad gal’ label with items entitled ‘Murder Rhi Wrote’ – a vast difference to the ‘Holiday 2015’ collection. Rihanna took to twitter to let her followers know about the new collection revealing an image of a pair of socks and tweeting “phuck yo nice list #rihannaxstance.”
Megan Lillie, a fashion and lifestyle blogger from the North East said: “On first look I have to say that I love the fluffy ankle socks – they are adorable! The knee length ones seem a bit risqué, a bit ‘dress up’ if you will – they look like they’d be included in a naughty Santa dress up outfit!”
