During the sudden spring heatwave this week, there was no better place to be than Sunderland’s very own Roker beach. The promenade was bustling with people relaxing in the sunshine, swimmers floating in the calm sea and shoppers trying to eat their ice cream before it melted. So, for your next sunny trip to the beach, here’s some street style inspiration from the most fashionable people of the day to help you stay feeling cool, calm and collected.

What they wore: On this day, Sophia chose to wear a bright orange patterned maxi dress, brown sunglasses, a shell necklace and neutral-coloured strappy sandals.
