However, Elite Dress Agency in Manchester will make all your dreams come true. Having a shop in Manchester and an online store allows you to purchase their items from all across the UK and have them delivered to you. So, what is Elite Dress Agency? Elite is a second-hand designer shop that sells preloved high-end and contemporary brands for majorly discounted prices. Designer items are handed in to the shop, checked for authenticity by in-house specialists, priced up and placed on the racks whilst ensuring the best quality of products for their customers. High-end brands that will be accepted to Elite include Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. Contemporary brands that will be accepted to Elite include Karen Millen, GANNI and Damson Madder.

Inside the store, the first thing you will notice is their iconic shoe collection. With shelves reaching the ceiling containing floral Gucci sandals, different styles and colours of Louboutins and Prada Platforms. Selling an extensive feature of Jimmy Choo, Emily from The Devil Wears Prada was right, “You sold your soul to the devil when you put on your first pair of Jimmy Choos, I saw it”.

If you are looking for something in particular, do not hesitate to ask the staff, they are known for going out of their way to help you and finding the best price for items that you’re donating. We spoke to Maisie at Elite who gave us an insight to the donation process stated previously and a tour of their stock.
Now let me tell you about the shop itself, selling designer preloved items since 1957, it is one of the best second-hand shops in Manchester, selling mainly womenswear and having the most iconic seasonal window displays. For example in the winter seasons, the window displays furs, skiing attire, boots, sunglasses and suitcases. Backing the showcase window, there is a glass cabinet that stacks sunglasses with brands including Roberto Cavalli and Dolce & Gabbana. Behind the counter, small clutches, quilted Chanel bags and more of the high-end small bags are showcased. With three available dressing rooms and a floor length mirror outside, pose and tag the shop as the lighting is perfect for the best instagramable pictures.

Keep a look out on Elite’s Instagram page as they frequently post about upcoming events that are happening in-store. Festive nights including raffles, champagne and late night shopping days with sales. Instore and online there is a sale section which has designer items discounted even further than before, however, this is not always available especially after events. Sales will include mainly discounted shoes and clothes that will always be contemporary fashion brands.
