Versatile Dressing: How to Style Your Scarf four ways

Styling doesn’t have to just be clothes, it can be simply wearing an accessory in different ways, making your look unique and versatile. So today our challenge was to try and style a scarf in numerous different ways!

For this challenge I used my red tartan blanket scarf from New Look, I was gifted this scarf several years ago and its remained a staple in my winter wardrobe ever since.

1st look:

The first way I styled it was just draped over my shoulders. This is the most commonly styled way of a scarf as it’s easy to do and can add another element into your outfit.

2nd look:

The second way was by wrapping the scarf around my neck once and have the ends draped over my shoulder. This is another common way a scarf is styled and is the way I tend to wear my scarfs personally as it keeps it in place and is also practical in the winter months to keep your neck warm.

3rd look:

For the third way I draped the scarf around my shoulders and tied it in the front at my waist to create a kind of shawl look. This can be a cute way to style a scarf especially if you have one with an interesting pattern you want to display.

4th look:

The fourth and final way I styled the scarf was as a makeshift skirt, I did this by wrapping the skirt around my lower half and then tucking the scarf into itself at the waist. This is the most interesting way I chose to style it but it creates a fun, creative look in my opinion.
