Vivienne Westwood and Lush have joined together to create a product to raise awareness about Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) known as the Dirty Deal Showder.

It is an agreement between the UK and the USA which could have a massive effect on job losses, privatisation of the NHS and weakened digital privacy bills, to name a few. Vivienne Westwood and Lush both agree that the British public need to be made aware of this in a large scale, so the product was invented to facilitate raising awareness of these issues

Assistant Manager, Alex Strachan, from the Lush store in Sunderland said: “From working in the shop, I can tell you that customers love the product because it is a bit of a novelty- it is a loose powder that gently foams and cleanses the skin, and not only that, the Dirty Deal shower powder has a colour changing effect”.

The product has been selling really well as it has been reviewed as a fantastic product, and the money (minus VAT) from the product going straight to groups who are campaigning against TTIP. After all, people don’t like the idea of losing their jobs above everything else.

Natasha Little, 23, a Call Centre Advisor from Gateshead, said: “I just decided to buy it today. I was just having a little look around to stock up on my bathroom supplies and I saw them demonstrate the product and how it changes colour and what it does.

It looked really cool, so I thought why not try it? Besides they were telling us why they are selling it, and I think it’s a good investment”.

The product is made up of Bergamot and Rose oil. These oils are known for their uplifting properties, specifically Bergamot, and Rose which both have great properties for the skin, including reducing redness and calming down irritated skin.
