Our new freshers got a taste of life as real life fashion journalists with a style challenge at John Lewis department store in Newcastle.
Meeting three members of the John Lewis team: Claire Meadows – Fashion Manager, Jane Matthewson – PR and Marketing Co-ordinator and Josta Wood – personal stylist, they were delivered a talk about the behind the scenes life at John Lewis and an in-depth view of personal styling.
Once the talk was completed, the students were given 30 minutes to select a garment or outfit that they liked to present to the group and the best garment would be crowned the winner.
For the outfit winner, Josta chose Barbora Bednarova’s winter outfit and for the garment winner, Jane chose Dannielle Galliphant’s pink midi skirt.
John Lewis are holding a fashion show on Wednesday 27 September at 5:30pm. Tickets are £15 and can be bought from John Lewis.
