The Winter Coat Amnesty release list of drop-off points for unwanted winter clothing in the North East

The Winter Coat Amnesty, set up by Crisis volunteers Andy Brown and Claire Paczko, has released a list of places people can donate their unwanted winter clothes.

The appeal helps the region’s homeless ask for people’s unwanted winter clothing to help homeless people in the North East.

The Google Map below pin points places where you can donate your clothes to.

The Winter Coat Amnesty are appealing for:

– Warm winter coats

– Hats

– Scarves

– Gloves

– Jeans/trousers

– T-shirts

– Sweatshirts

– Hoodies

– Shirts

– Tracksuits

– Trainers/ sturdy shoes

– New socks

– New underwear

This morning (November 3) The Winter Coat Amnesty also put out an appeal for clothing rails to be donated or borrowed.
