In the lead up to the release of Disney’s retelling of their 1991 classic Beauty and the Beast multiple brands have released collections in collaboration with the movie. L’Oreal have brought out a collection that will be made up of seven of their Colour Riche lipsticks that will match seven Colour Oil Enamel nail polishes all associating with each character from the movie.
This collection has already launched in Europe, so let’s hope it makes it’s way to UK shores sometime soon!
With shades suitable for every skin tone and every occasion ranging from sultry reds to everyday nudes. These products will make you feel like a princess for the day.
Disney Couture has brought out some of the most adorable jewellery that is subtle and can be easily worn if you are a secret Disney obsessor. The collection includes earrings. dainty necklaces, bracelets and rings in a choice of silver, gold or rose gold. They had be paired with any outfit to add a simple but cutesy look. My personal favourite is a dainty silver bangle that is hand painted with the heart melting quote ‘until the last petal falls’. The prices are extremely affordable for such stunning and unique pieces, ranging from £22 to £85. Who said we have to grow up, right?
Designer, Danielle Nicole, has added Beauty and the Beast to her Disney X DN range in honour of the movie. The collection includes the Beast, Cogsworth, Mrs Potts and Chip inspired clutches, cross bodies and back packs meaning we can wear them to every event. All of our favourite characters by our side at all times, what more could we ask for?
Everybody’s favourite shop ‘The Disney Store’ has of course released its very own collection with character dolls, outfits, stationary, cutlery and accessories. As usual their entire collection is perfect for all ages and is the ideal gift. The prices are affordable for many, with a few collectors pieces with a higher price point, overall ranging from £3 – £200.
There are many other brands and stores with amazing Beauty and the Beast inspired collections, such as Primark, so we can all get our hands on a piece of Disney magic.
It is impossible not to love the courageous Princess that falls in love with the cursed Beast and this is exactly how Emma Watson felt as she accepted the part of Belle her ‘role model’. She saw her character as ‘defying of expectations’ and through this she felt her role was ’empowering’. To our surprise Emma Watson was originally offered the role of Cinderella which she of course turned down, and we are so pleased she did because she couldn’t be more perfect to play everyones favourite princess. Emma stated she felt ‘Belle resonated with her more than Cinderella did’.
Beauty and the Beast comes out 17th March 2017 and we can’t wait.
