Fashion, Actually…Is All Around: An Editorial Photoshoot
A journey through a 90s style rom-com film from the meet-cute to the big fall out to the apology, narrated by lyrics from the best love songs of the past few decades

This editorial photoshoot was inspired by my favourite 90s and 2000s romantic comedies that I watched growing up, including Notting Hill, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Love Actually, Pretty Woman, 10 Things I Hate About You and 13 Going On 30.
Each scene was based on a trope from these types of films, such as a ‘chance meeting’, a cute picnic date, a miscommunication and a grand gesture or apology.
I also included romantic song lyrics throughout as titles for each image to convey the tone and emotion in the scene, as well as referencing how important song tracks often are to films, especially rom coms. In recent years, films like ‘Anyone But You’ have revitalised older songs such as Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield.
