Age UK Gateshead will host their first charity Winter fashion show on 26th November to celebrate North East talent.
The catwalk, which will be held at the Marriott Hotel at the Metro Centre, will feature a variety of fashion trends and it is aimed at everyone; all sizes, shapes and ages.
Age UK Gateshead campaign and fundraising co-ordinator, Suziee Cassels, said: “Our charity help the older community get through the winter warm and, although the clothing at the show is not just aimed at the elderly, it’s for all generations. The catwalk models, both male and female, are a variety of different ages; it’s going to be a fantastic night.”
Expect a fashion filled night with glamorous and affordable winter fashion for all budgets which will be styled within the Age UK shop in Gateshead. Local boutiques, such as celebrity inspired fashion company; Fash1, and menswear premium boutique; Hotspur 1364, will be featured during the show.
On the night, locally sourced musicians will greet the audience before and after the show. You will also get the opportunity to shop the catwalk by visiting a variety of pop up stalls that will be at the event.
The money raised through the innovative catwalk will go back into the community and fund a variety of services that help the elderly.
