Amy Childs showcases her new line at intu Eldon Square Spring Fashion Event

If I were to tell you Amy Childs was in the North East the first thing you would think would be “OMG! Shat ap!” Well it’s true. The reality star graced the catwalk at intu Eldon Square’s Spring Fashion Event to promote her new line at Dorothy Perkins.

Dorothy Perkins teamed up with Amy to create a line that brings sophistication to the every day woman but in a fun and flirty way. Her clothes are created to suit all body types, so there’s no reason you shouldn’t be running to stores to buy something yourself.

Denise Tweedy, intu Eldon Square’s assistant marketing manager, said: “There’s a connection between The Only Way is Essex people and Newcastle people.

“We love getting dressed up for a night out and making a really big effort, so there’s a connection.”

Along with Dorothy Perkins there were other intu Eldon Square brands showcasing their latest collections such as; John Lewis, Topman, Superdry, Lipsy, River Island and Monsoon just to name a few.

Colour blocking, florals and ripped jeans made their way down the catwalk to showcase the latest SS15 trends but it was the catwalk display that caught our eyes.

Usually fashion shows can be boring, but not this one. Keeping up with the fun-nature that is the North East each new look was provided with a little dance of it’s own. Six models dancing their way down to Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk could not be any less boring.

It even had the host, Anna Foster, threatening to bust a move not before revealing the celebrity donator for The Big Intu Clothes Drop. Cheryl Fernandez-Versini generously donated two of her dresses to the cause, her dresses will be sold on eBay to raise money for homeless people in the North East.
