intuMetroCentre held it’s first pre-view blogger fashion show on Wednesday night and we were invited along for the first ride.

Greeted with chocolate and vanilla mini cupcakes and a fantastic goodie-bag armed with beauty treats from House of Fraser was just the start of a fun-filled evening.

Radio Presenter – Anna Foster, hosted the fashion show, wearing a long floral patterned skirt from Topshop and Label Labs last seasons biker jacket, she looked as if she could have walked the runway herself. On stage, Anna praised bloggers and boasted about how she can’t help but stay up late at night reading about what they have to say about the latest fashion trends.

Before we knew it the models were on the catwalk, looking flawless and showing off the latest high-street trends, the atmosphere was electric and you couldn’t help but smile watching the models preview clothes from the high street’s most sort-after stores such as Superdry and Tessuti.

The theme of the catwalk this year was Let Your True Colours Shine, to reflect the theme, the stage was bursting with colour. Warehouse’s collection highlighted the beautiful contrast that can be made by mixing lime green and black, while French Connection showed how to add turquoise into your summer wardrobe.

It was clear to see some inspiration for hair and make-up was taken from London’s spring/summer fashion shows. The low pony was transformed and remodelled with a fun classic edge, while eyes were kept clean and clear with bold eyelashes by ND Lashes the models lips were donned with vibrant colours.

The models kept their calm and strutted with a casual, classic edge that kept everyone’s eyes pierced onto the clothes. Emily Hardcastle, who gives her readers advice on everything from fashion to beauty, boasted about the show, she said: “I loved it. It was something that was different.”
