This is a modern oversized corset made by bleached linen fabric and inspired by Joan Miro’s naïf- abstract collection of paintings called ‘Le Lizard aux Plumes’. The disintegrated form, the abstract design and the shapes occurring from this pattern, obey perfectly to Issey Miyake’s perspectives, whom this is designed for. The piece follows the trend of geometry, not only thanks to its original line, but also for the volumes that can be created when the ribbons are pulled together to tighten more around the waist. This item is referred to a primary target group of young people – both men and women- with a minimal and creative style.
