For the fifth session for work in the studio, we studied different variants of flatlays. This technique is often used by influencers or people who show some items from their wardrobe or, for example, the filling of their bag. This is also an interesting way to broadcast your style, it is a delicate matter in its own way, because you need to be able to correctly and tastefully arrange things for photos so that it is attractive.
Flay-lay 1
My topics may seem different at first glance. But in fact they have one thing in common. It’s modernity and technology. It’s like showing an ordinary influencer’s day. In the first photo, I used appliances and cosmetics, you can also see a blue shirt to create a slightly formal style. A basic set of a student or a girl who works in an office.
Flat-lay 2
The second photo is already more in a sporty style, but there are still headphones, a camera, and cosmetics. It is interesting in its own way because it can be used for different events. Maybe it’s a camping kit, if you remove the dumbbells, or maybe for training. It can also be a casual set. It’s like showing a person’s day through his stuff.
Flat-lay 3
The third set is about the same, but it is already simpler and stricter, there is no shirt here, but there are jewellery. They were created in the same style and with the same things, but their arrangement looks different and the photos themselves are already different.
It’s an interesting experience and you enjoy this process. You’re developing your insight. So to visually know where what object can stand and look beautiful. So that it doesn’t look boring or uncouth, as if everyone had been thrown. To see beauty in the details and complement it.
