Fashion North visited Daisy Chain to take part in a styling challenge for their social media. This outfit shown here on this mannequin was the theme “from 9 until 9.” This means the outfit needs to represent a fit you can do your daily tasks in but is appropriate to go out later in the night, for example, a night out or an evening meal.
I chose the pair of jeans on the bottom half because they are a versatile garment for either dressing an outfit up or down. In this case, it was down. I had the idea of putting a shirt under a v-neck sweater because I think it makes the v-neck look sharp and adds a splash of smartness to it.
The leather jacket was a last-minute addition which I think brought the outfit together and is good just in case there is a cooler temperature change later in the evening.
