For week 6 of fashion styling, I had to produce two to three different flat lays and pick my own relevant theme. I decided my overall theme was going to be holiday must- haves because this is something that in my spare time I put a lot of thought and planning into since holidays are something I look forward to and like to be prepared for so I thought I’d share what I would consider the must-haves. I have chosen three different categories which make up my theme and they are pool side, skin care in the sun and travelling to a destination. All three categories will be shown by three different flat lay pictures.
Pool Side:
Here is my holiday must-have for the pool side. Obviously, a bikini for a holiday around the pool but this one is distinctive by double hooped decoration on the bikini top and bottoms. I love this because I think it adds more enhancement to the bikini. The bolder the better. In my flat lays you will see a common theme of gold/rose gold and hoops. Jewellery is very important to look good and keep a fashion look consistent so I have paired my look with gold heart earrings, a gold necklace, a gold diamanté chain which fastens around the waist and a pair of cat eye sunglasses with gold end pieces and frames which all complement each other perfectly. Also included is a tanning cream for the perfect bronze look and finally a white sarong which pairs very well with a holiday tan.
Travelling To a Destination:
The first go to when travelling to a destination is a fashionable tote bag to carry all belongings in, as you can tell my go to pattern is leopard print. Again, my theme of gold is present in the travelling section as seen on various objects. I also think the pink products such as the purse match perfectly with the gold in my flat lays. Another pair of cat eye sunglasses are among the many items. you never know when you will need them. Perfume always comes in handy, and I love the floral design of the Daisy Marc Jacobs perfume, it fits my aesthetic.
Skincare in the Sun:
Heres what I would class as essentials for skin care in the sun. It is all about the glow which is why I have included a MAC shimmer highlighter, Dove face tan and a skincare spray from Beauty Bay. Multiple hair serums also to tame frizz and make up products such as liquid contour and mascaras which enhance any skincare and make up look. Yet again another two Daisy perfumes by Marc Jacobs appear with their lovely floral packaging and fresh smell.
