This week we were tasked with picking out and bringing in household items to either turn into an outfit or accessorise with. From doing trend research, I was aware that bows were a big trend that had been going for a while and is continuing to flourish. I decided to bring in my collection of ribbons of different colours, textures and sizes that I thought complemented each other.
I experimented with different placement, combinations and ways of tying them to my favourite bag. The final outcome, I thought, worked really well with the contrast of the leather against the femininity of the bows. This is a great way to elevate an outfit without needing sewing skills and with something you might just have at home!
