Emporio Armani is the brand marketed towards a younger audience, with more affordable prices than the main Giorgio Armani range. For this collection, the focus lay on a ‘new feminine figure,’ and a ‘determined form of grace’ and it certainly didn’t disappoint.

The models wore dark lipstick with their hair down and natural, reflecting the androgynous yet feminine feel to the whole show.  The clothes that went down the runway contained a mixture of silvers, browns, whites and dreamy shades of pink, shown in a fun flirty way.

At first there were loose grey pinstriped trousers teamed with printed blazers, moving onto Bermuda-style shorts with fitted jackets. Floral prints were present but in pastel colours, with models wearing neck-scarfs in similar patterns.

The colour palette within the collection developed with pops of copper and pinks on loose tailored jackets, trousers and dresses. The models carried bucket and bowling bags, showing that Emporio bags have structure for spring.

Girly tones of pink mixed with textured frilly jackets, followed by brighter pinks and oranges including a printed trouser suit with matching neck-scarf. The show ended with a series of brighter coloured flowing dresses, matched with statement necklaces and bracelets.

The last few dresses of the collection were stand-out pieces with longer trains and a different coloured one shouldered strap which gave the garment a definite pop.
