It was announced last night (Wednesday October 29) that Miley Cyrus is to replace Rihanna as the face of MAC’s Viva Glam charity campaign.
As always, the new Viva Glam spokeswoman gets to design her own lipstick for the cause, and party girl Miley has chosen a blue toned pink with silver pearl shimmer. The Amplified finish lipstick and co-ordinating Lipglass are set to launch in the UK on February 12 2015 – making it next year’s ultimate Valentines Day lipstick.
Although Miley Cyrus has made her mark in fashion through designing for Jeremy Scott and featuring in campaigns for the likes of Marc Jacobs, this is her first collaboration in the world of beauty.
Every penny from the sales that MAC make from their Viva Glam products is donated to the MAC Aids Fund charity, which helps people affected by HIV.
Following in the footsteps of the likes of Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj, Miss Cyrus is certainly in good Viva Glam company.
