Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh announced on Instagram yesterday that her eponymous brand has gone into liquidation.
She said in her post “…it is with great sadness that I have had to make the very tough decision to close it [the brand]. Despite our best efforts and being a top seller with a number of our stockists, the financial climate in the fashion industry have proved immensely challenging and the business is no long sustainable.”
According to The Mirror the company went bust and reportedly owes more than £500,000.
Her fans have been saddened by the news, taking to her Instagram comments to express their disappointment.
One said: “So sad to hear this but no doubt that this was only the beginning. Can’t wait to see what comes next.”
