The current global pandemic has not stopped me from spending unnecessary amounts of money online – it really is what I do best. Although my current purchases include more essential items rather than hunting for a mini dress for an upcoming night out – my priorities have definitely changed.
I have collated a list of my top items from clothing, skincare and entertainment to inspire your online purchase- retail therapy is a simple way to make yourself feel better.
Fashion
We have all come to a collective decision to ditch jeans and opt for a more comfortable stay-at-home style. During this time, we may be gravitating towards oversized and slouchy clothing but it doesn’t mean we can’t do so in style.
Loungewear can be made fashionable, the print of the season is tie dye and it can easily be incorporated to your stay-at-home look.
A pair of joggers are a staple in your loungewear wardrobe, this pair from Bershka (£19.99) has the perfect tie dye pattern and can be styled with a simple white racer back vest from Topshop (£7.00).
Selfcare
With us spending more time indoors, we can focus our time on our well being and selfcare. During lockdown I have been using my time to research into skincare and have treated myself to some new products to help hydrate my skin and improve my overall appearance.
I recently discovered the brand The Ordinary who are known for their skincare products, I tried their natural moisturiser (£5.00) and found it to hydrate my skin and give it a natural glow.
I have been seeing people using face rollers to help activate blood circulation in their faces to help the overall skin finish, I found one on Asos by the brand Psychic Sisters (£29,99).
Lifestyle
Due to spending time stuck inside my home I decided to invest in something I could spend my time doing, one of my top picks for lockdown is the new streaming service Disney +. With hours of entertainment from Disney Channel original shows to big blockbuster films, there is something for everyone and is great for binge watching.
As many of us are using quarantine to keep fit and healthy, investing in some good gym equipment can transform your home workout routine. Lifestyle influencer, Grace Beverley’s brand B_ND offers equipment from resistance bands to workout guides catered to your needs to inspire your workout routine.
My top buy from B_ND is the short resistant band (£14) which is perfect for everyone to use for full body workouts.
